QUEER LANGUAGE, SECRECY AND PROTEST WORKSHOP
Join us at Paradise Works for a QUEER LANGUAGE, SECRECY AND PROTEST creative workshop lead by artist Jez Dolan on Tuesday the 28th of September, 6.00-8.30pm.
In this free workshop, you will explore the secret language of POLARI, 'the lost language of gay men’ used to both disguise and identify their natures and desires from the 1920s-1970s in England. Discover the origins and contemporary uses of POLARI in the LGBTQIA+ fight for equality and create unique collages and monoprints in response to our conversations. See you there heartface!
