Join Paradise Works artist Maisie Pritchard for a two-part workshop, where participants are invited to make odd and bizarre dinnerware objects to form a new collaborative sculptural work.
This project will explore design and making processes by giving low value materials such as paper and cardboard a new lease of life by transforming them into sculptural design objects, and playful pieces of dinnerware. Participants will learn how to use a new material and technique developed by Maisie as a part of her visual arts practice.
Participants will also have the opportunity to see their work displayed as an installation at Paradise Works on the 9th September 6-9pm & 10th September 12-4pm, followed by an exhibition displayd at Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces, Wigan from 12th-30th September.
Access: Paradise Works is accessible by two flights of stairs.
This event is funded by 'A Modest Show’, the collateral programme to a British Art Show 9 and supported by Arts Council England.
